These success stories are not just about the help we’ve delivered; they’re about the lives transformed, the communities rebuilt, and the faith restored. Each case you’ll read below stands as a testament to what compassion, unity, and purpose can achieve together

Amna’s Little Heart — A Story of Hope

At just five years old, Amna from Swabi was fighting for her life. Born with several holes in her heart, her father—a grocery store helper—couldn’t afford the Rs. 250,000 surgery she urgently needed. With the Zakat fund’s turn years away, time was running out.
When Khalq Foundation shared Amna’s story, compassionate hearts came together. Within weeks, enough funds were raised to cover her entire surgery cost. Under the care of Dr. Abdul Malik Sheikh in Rawalpindi, Amna underwent a successful operation on 3rd April 2017.
Today, she’s a symbol of what happens when empathy turns into action — a reminder that together, we can save not just lives, but entire futures. ❤️

A Heart Repaired, A Life Renewed

In June 2017, Khalq Foundation reached out to help 1.5-year-old Mustafa, the son of Mohammad Javaid, who was born with a severe heart defect known as TAPVR — a condition where all veins are incorrectly connected to the heart. Without urgent surgery, his young life was at great risk.
His family, struggling financially, couldn’t afford the cost of treatment. Through Khalq Foundation’s appeal, compassionate donors came forward, contributing their Zakat and support to make the surgery possible.
Today, Mustafa’s bright smile reminds us of what collective kindness can achieve — turning fear into faith, and saving yet another precious life.

When Kindness Built a Home

In October 2015, Khalq Foundation shared the story of Naseem, a widowed mother from Abbottabad struggling to provide shelter for her family. With a teenage son working as a van conductor and a daughter pursuing college education, Naseem worked in homes to make ends meet.
Though she had inherited a small piece of land from her father, she lacked the means to build a house. Determined to give her children a safe place to live, she reached out for help. Through the Khalq Foundation network, donors quickly came together, contributing funds beyond the initial Rs. 50,000 that had already been pledged.

Thanks to this generosity, a 5 marla home was built for Naseem and her children — a true symbol of dignity and stability. Her story stands as a reminder that when compassion meets purpose, even a dream as simple as a home can come to life.

Usman’s Brave Heart Beats On

Usman, the son of Murad, underwent heart surgery through Khalq Foundation in 2014 at AFIC under Brig. Dr. Kamal Saleem. Now, at a later stage, he required another complex surgery costing PKR 550,000 to restore blood flow to his lower body. His father, a factory worker, couldn’t afford the expense, but Khalq once again stepped in to seek support.

Though the procedure was postponed on medical advice for a few months, the funds collected were redirected to help another deserving child — ensuring that every donation continued to save lives and spread hope.

Fahad’s Story — A Little Heart Healed

Three-year-old Fahad, the son of Saeed-ur-Rehman from Abbottabad, was born with a hole in his heart and a blocked blood flow to his lungs. His father, a fruit seller, couldn’t afford the costly treatment. Through Khalq Foundation’s appeal, donors came together to raise the remaining PKR 300,000 needed for his surgery.

Under the care of Dr. Kamal Saleem at AFIC, Fahad underwent a successful angiography followed by heart surgery in June 2019. Today, he is recovering well — another precious life saved, and another story of compassion turned into hope

Munsif Ali’s Story — From Illness to Innocence

Two-and-a-half-year-old Munsif Ali, son of Yousuf Ali from Shrot, Gilgit, was diagnosed with blood cancer (AML). His family struggled to afford repeated hospital admissions and treatment costs while staying in Rawalpindi for his care.

Khalq Foundation stepped in to support the family, covering essential treatment and hospital expenses. After months of continued treatment and prayers, Munsif fully recovered and returned home in May 2016 — a victory of compassion and collective hope.

Iqra’s Story — A Heart Restored

Nine-year-old Iqra, daughter of Muhammad Zubair, was born with a hole in her heart. Her father couldn’t afford the PKR 250,000 surgery needed to save her life. Through Khalq Foundation’s heartfelt appeal, donors quickly came together to raise the full amount.

Under the care of Dr. Kamal Saleem at AFIC, Iqra underwent a successful heart surgery in October 2018. She made a full recovery soon after — a beautiful reminder that when kindness unites, even the smallest hearts can heal.

Ayeza’s Story — A Tiny Heart Saved

In March 2019, Khalq Foundation received an urgent plea for help from the family of 6-month-old Ayeza, a baby girl from Skardu born with a hole in her heart. Her parents, struggling financially, could not afford the high cost of the life-saving surgery.

On 22nd April 2019, little Ayeza underwent a successful heart surgery. After weeks of care and prayers, her condition stabilized, and she began her journey toward recovery.

Today, Ayeza’s smile is a living reminder of what humanity can achieve when compassion turns into action — proof that together, we can give even the tiniest hearts a second chance at life.
